This is a 2009 International yellow school bus that has the mileage of ONLY 177,292. This diesel is powered by the popular Maxxforce International DT 466 diesel motor, and has a WORKING wheelchair lift. This International was bought by the Montgomery County School system new and run over the rural roads of this county. The busses are well maintained, have good tires, and strong batteries. they were in service and certified right up to the time we got them. We have had a lot of these busses and the buyers have been very happy with them. I looked over all that was available and believe I got the pick of the litter. I have about several available, along with several other types.
We are going to sell this bus for a fraction of what they cost now a days. The new busses that replace these cost over $150k.
The exterior is in great shape and shows well. There very little rust on this bus,and this bus is certainly usable just like it is. all of the tires are 22.5 inch and look great.
The interior is in very good shape. The heaters and defrosters work well! !
The diesel motor starts right up, has plenty of power, sounds great and doesn"t smoke. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly. The brakes operate fine also. This bus is easy and pleasant to drive and will take you home wherever you live. It is ready to work! ! . Bid early as we reserve the right to end the auction early
