Selling my personally owned 2009 Chevrolet 3500 Duramax Diesel Shuttle Bus. This bus is mechanically sound with a newer transmission and plenty of other newer parts. I purchased it from someone in PA that bought it 1 year ago from PARTA (portage area regional transit) in Ohio. He was using it to haul pallets and then got himself a dump truck so he passed this bus onto me. I bought it with the intention to turn it into an RV but I am not going to have the time to do that at this point.
The bus has the LMM Duramax engine which has great oil pressure, sounds and runs excellent. Good steering and brakes. Cold AC working up front (2 separate AC systems on this bus). Cruise Control (rare to find on a bus). 294,000 miles on it. The duramax engines last double that easily.
Valid PA inspection sticker good to 8/21. This bus is rust free on the front half of it but does show some rust behind the rear wheels and may need some attention to the plywood floor in that area. I have deleted the DPF (emissions related) so the bus will need a tuner on it to keep it from going into reduced engine power mode once it senses that has been removed (but is easily reset in the mean time by cycling the key or erasing the codes with a code scanner).
