2009 Chevrolet C5500 Kodiak 32ft long shuttle bus. 183k miles on it with a 8.1L engine with Allison transmission. Runs and drives excellent no mechanical issues with it, no warning lights on the dash etc. This bus has 2 independent Air Conditioning systems each with their own compressor, one for the front and one for the rear and both work and blow cold. It also has multiple heaters. It has dual Alternators pumping out a bunch of power, it has hydraulic brakes with an additional electric driveshaft brake. Many redundant systems on this vehicle to keep it reliable. I just put in 2 brand new batteries and a brand new AC Delco (oem) water pump since I noticed the old one started leaking a little out of the weep hole it was time for a new water pump. I"ve gone over the bus to fix anything that needs attention and I can"t find anything else it"s ready to drive anywhere it runs great, it"s a chevy big block and a Allison transmission pretty hard to get more reliable than that.
