2008 Keystone Springdale Summerland - 29 Foot (Damaged)
We are the original owners of this travel trailer and bought it new. We"ve used it about 15 times and put about 6,000 miles on it. We last used it in 2011 and it has been sitting in storage since.
While it was in storage, the seams on the corners of the roof leaked and caused the corners to rot. I started to work on the corners in the master suite but I do not have time to complete it and I"m tired of paying to store it. As you can see in the photos, the rotted wood in the master suite has been torn out. There is no flooring in the front half of the room.
In addition to the master suite, the corner by the rear bunks is also rotted and will need to be replaced. There is a storage compartment under the bottom bunk where the floor is rotted.
Everything worked on the trailer when we parked it (appliances, AC, water heater, water system, etc.) and I think it all still works but I can"t guarantee it. The slide-out still works but I don"t have power at my storage unit to open it up. I did recently test it at home and it does work.
The tires are original but still hold air fine. All the vehicle lights work but one of the tail light lenses is cracked and held on by duct tape. The brakes worked last time I used it in 2011 but my current vehicle doesn"t have a brake controller installed so I can"t test them. I repacked the wheel bearings in 2011 and only have a few hundred miles on them.
The roof lining is still good and has no tears or holes. The leaks in the corners are at the seams and can be fixed with RV roof sealant. I have silicone on them now but that won"t hold permanently. It will need new vent covers. I have plastic vent caps on there now but I would replace them.
It does not currently have a battery. It has a good spare tire. It takes a 2 5/16" ball and I have a large receiver hitch with ball that will come with the trailer. I have all the manuals that came with the trailer and I have a clean title in hand. There is still some camping and kitchen gear in the trailer I don"t have time to clean out that you might find useful.
This trailer is being sold AS IS. No warranty is offered or implied. $200 deposit by PayPal is required within 24 hours of the auction end with the balance due in CASH upon pick up of the trailer which must be within 7 days after auction end.
The trailer is located at my storage location in Dickinson, Tx (near League City) and will be picked up at that location. I will not deliver it or arrange for delivery.
