Vehicle description
This custom Peterbilt box truck was used by the Los Angeles County Sanitation Department. The specific use of the truck was to drop off and pick up empty residential refuse roller cans.
In addition to this truck being one of the best built trucks in the world as a Peterbilt, having low miles, and receiving regular maintenance since it"s a government vehicle, the box has a hydraulic lift which allows the driver to drop the box to the ground to make easy loading and unloading of product. So forget about the hassle of having a ramp on your box truck or having to use a cumbersome lift gate and balancing the items going up and down (if the lift gate even works). This is the ultimate truck for loading and unloading items. Message me if you"d like to see a video of the hydraulics in action on the box portion of the truck. Considering that the Los Angeles County bought these Peterbilts brand new, had them converted with the hydraulic box use, this is a very expensive truck and at this price it"s a serious steal!
