Fuel Tanker: Self contained; fully operational Oshkosh M978A2 HEMTT 8x8 fuel tanker for on road or off road use. This truck is available at a fraction of the cost of a new unit which sells for in excess of $325,000. With a 2500 gallon, 2 compartment stainless steel tank with the commensurate pumps and retractable fuel hoses, this unit has MUCH more capability than a traditional commercial fuel tanker. Truck is built on a military grade chassis with a robust Detroit diesel engine with automatic transmission. Includes a roomy heated and air conditioned cab and with 8 wheel drive capability, this truck can handle your aviation, diesel or gasoline fuel transport and delivery requirements with ease.
This 2008 model year truck with less than 5000 miles is in pristine condition and comes with a State of Michigan title. This is not an over priced, run of the mill, old M978 fuel tanker that is at the end of its life, but rather the A2 model that is identical to that being used by military and civilian authorities across the world. Other than a small stone chip in the wind shield, this unit is perfect. We are selling the truck as we now have centralized fuel storage tanks on our farm and no longer use it.
