2008 Leisure Travel Van Free Flight Class B Van RV
2nd owner, I have owned it for last 4+ years. I love this camper van, but have done all and more I had hoped with it and now it"s time to go to someone who will use and enjoy it for what it is meant for.
This Class B is in excellent condition! When not traveling it has always been stored in a garage/carport. Only 50 hours on generator, No leaks. NO accidents. No vehicle rust. No error lights. All systems work. Front seats covered since new with sheep skins. Floor has had rugs to keep flooring looking brand new. No pets or smoking. Needs nothing, just buy and drive as new. All Leisure Travel van owners will tell you they are better than Roadtrek and Pleasure Way, I agree, and they have more storage and conveniences than all other Class B vans.
Extremely clean and well cared for. I took perfect care of this rig. This Leisure Travel van is is top of its class in the Class B RV world. It really doesn"t come much nicer then these. Over $85,000 was paid when it was purchased new on July 20, 2008. Totally loaded with all features and add-ons, including a flat screen TV, and back up camera system , outdoor shower, microwave, generator, full awning, bug and rain deflectors, push bar/grill guard on front, 3-way refrigerator, swiveling passenger seat, 2 deep cycle house batteries (more power!). Has an attached grey/black water hose, makes it much cleaner to use, attaching and emptying much easier and quicker. Turn key condition with three keys and two fob remotes, and several keys for outside bins, complete maintenance receipts/paperwork since I"ve owned it, all original manuals and binder contents for all items in the RV, and so much more. No deferred maintenance, everything is up to date.
The van is a Chevy 3500 V8-Vortec with a 4-speed automatic transmission. This is the same workhorse engine in many of the short school buses, both engine and transmission are known to be super dependable and long lasting.
Has been entirely maintained by Antelope Valley Chevy Dealer and my RV guy at Affordable RV Repair.
Impeccably maintained and regular service always done. Replaced Core PCM computer Module for van Jan 2019 5 Newer Bridgestone Tires (includes spare) – replaced in Jan 2018 less than 24k current miles Rear Differential Service and New Brake Rotors and Pads, Alignment 2018 Furnace and Water Heater and tank reseal, New Roof Sealing - Updated TV (old one was super old tech, bad resolution and heavy!) - Added 2 USB ports to dash - Replaced attached grey/black hose is like-new - I will include two dash cams on front and back of vehicle that I"ve used since owning if wanted - New Kenwood Stereo/Garmin GPS/Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, etc installed. Super fancy modern stereo/phone and GPS system. This thing is awesome!
Registration is good until July 22, 2020.
The “not perfect” - Has dent on right side back bumper from previous owner backing into a tree. Still full chrome, no damage/scratches to chrome or behind it. Never had a table stand/pole that fits into the floor and you set a table top on, I always had the full bed made up in back when traveling so no need. I"ve seen other RV"ers use plastic tubing from a home supply store. Minor windshield rock nicks, 1 chip repair. Windshield is fine, no cracks. Some small scratches and rock dings around the van, incredibly minor for a 2008 rig. Some “bubbling” of the counter material/overlay around stove and back stove/wall area. I assume first owner set hot items here, or spilled hot something, I don"t know. . I"m trying to be 100% accurate when detailing anything that is “not perfect”, so there are no surprises. You will not believe how like-new and clean this RV is!
I was originally listing at $44,500. I have lowered the price for the additional short time I have it up to $42,500 FIRM. This is my lowest price. I have already adjusted this price for the minor wear and tear and items mentioned and will not accept any lower offer. I do not wish to be rude, but if you ask for a lower price I will not answer you back. Cashier"s Check obtained new at your/my bank when we make the transaction. I will only do the transaction during banking hours/days. Title is in-hand now and in my name only, no waiting.
Ready for you to see and test drive! It is currently winterized, but once meet/pick up is confirmed I will gladly prepare it (and get it smogged) to show the new owner all systems working and a walk-thru of using the RV if wanted.
