“165,620 miles and 11 year old shuttle bus in excellent mechanical condition. Owned and serviced since new by University of California. Interior upholstery in amazing condition for its age.... very clean. No rips or tears. Exterior paint does have scrapes, scuffs, nicks, and other cosmetic blemishes consistent with an 11 year old bus with 165,000 miles (the white color looks best and easy to touch up). Current owner has logged over 1,000 miles and can verify excellent running condition. A new A/C compressor was just installed by a local diesel shop for the rear A/C systems and fully charged. Both A/C compressors are working perfectly and the Air Conditioning is absolutely ICE COLD!! Power windows, locks, cruise control work perfectly. The air system that controls the brakes, driver's seat for adjustment and air cushion, and operates the pneumatic side access door is working perfectly. Brand new batteries installed on July 2, 2019 - 3 tandem class 31 batteries.” |

Vehicle description
165,620 miles - Diesel 7.6L Maxxforce Engine - 5-speed Allison Transmission with OD - Newer tires - 35 passenger shuttle bus - seat belts on every seat - handicap chair lift - Fleet service vehicle for University of California with impeccable service - Very clean - Drives very well. The A/C blows ice cold and this bus drives straight and true. The store owner personally picked this bus up in California and drove it the 800 miles from San Francisco to Orem, Utah. This bus ran perfectly and had absolutely no problems on the long trip. This bus is a great option for a sports team, church group, charter travel, school functions, etc. There are a few of these shuttle buses in the market, but only a rare few have the very important safety feature of seat belts for all passengers as this one does. The cost to retrofit or install seat belts in a bus that does not have them would be incredibly expensive and time consuming. . No worries here, this one already has them. The other great advantage with this bus is that it was purchased new and maintained consistently by the University of California motor pool. All routine, regular, and recommended maintenance was always performed including regular oil changes and fluid exchanges. This has all of the standard features available on a Krystal Koach 2008 International conversion bus. The extra features include the full power handicap lift with rear access door and the fold down bike rack on the front of the bus. The handicap lift is currently not working, but it looks like it has rarely been used and is in amazing cosmetic condition. I"m sure somebody could get it going with a little time and knowledge. The lift is easily removed if you prefer to have the large access door for luggage (most prefer this option).
