This one owner 2008 34 foot Holiday Rambler Savoy LX was purchased new in 2010. It has never been smoked in or had a pet in it. It has no water damage or roof leaks. It is a three slide unit, with opposing slides in the back which make it very spacious. One slide has the free standing dinette and couch, the opposing slide has the entertainment center and fireplace. A third slide is in the bedroom which has a new (2017) memory foam queen size mattress that retailed for $ 700. The cabinets are a cherry wood finish and have ample storage. The ride on this fifth wheel is remarkable, due to installation of a Trail Air Center Point air ride suspension and a 5 th . Airborne air ride pin box. A tea kettle can be placed on the stove, and it is still in place after traveling hundreds of miles. When the air ride suspension was installed heavy duty shackles and links were installed, in addition to wet bolts with grease zerks and bronze bushings. The original 15” wheels and tires were replaced with 16” aluminum modular wheels, with MAXXIS ST235/80R16 load range E tires. MAXXIS are one of the best and most reliable trailer tires you can purchase. (See article in Sept. 2016 issue of Trailer Life). The unloaded vehicle weight of the camper is 8,950 pounds, and the gross vehicle weight is 12,400 pounds. The axles are rated at 5200 pounds each, and have professionally been aligned for proper tracking and optimum tire wear. The pin box weight is approximately 2000 pounds with the camper loaded. This camper can be towed with some half ton pickups. Additional upgrades I have added are a 32” VIZIO HD LED TV which was new in 2017. I also installed an electric fireplace, which I can remove if the purchaser prefers the original desk configuration instead. A class IV receiver hitch was installed which has only been used for a bike rack. Other upgrades include vent fans, such as a MAXXAir in the living room. Two 6 volt golf cart batteries wired in series have been installed which outperform deep cycle 12 volt batteries. The exterior slide out gasket seals were all replaced in 2017. It does have two blemishes that are shown in the pictures. Cosmetic damage was done to the right front corner of the camper when it came in contact with the aluminum headache rack on the pickup from making a turn to tight. There also is a short small crack in the fiberglass on one corner of the bedroom slide. It does not affect the integrity of the unit and is only cosmetic.
