Vehicle description
xcel by Peterson 5th wheel camper toy hauler with Torflex 3 axles so rides very smoothly. This is a 2008 model built by Peterson in Kansas. Is is a triple axle 5th wheel that is set up with a Goose neck hitch that is removable. It has 3 slides one in the bedroom and one on each side of the main part of the camper. Making the room quite large. It has a furnace that is ducted as is the air conditioning. The cabinets are all oak with a lot of storage area. It has a shower with a doomed skylight, a porcelain toilet, and washer and dryer in the bathroom. The master suite has a queen bed with storage under over and beside, with a counter and a large mirrored wardrobe, and venting skylight. Kitchen has a double sink with Corian covers that match the countertop. Gas stove with a micro wave convection oven above the stove. Refrigerator with freezer on top that runs on LP or Electricity, same as the water heater, does. It has day and night shades, for privacy. Ceiling fan, central vacuum, satellite system, surround sound, DVD player, stereo, system that plays outside, also. TV can swing into the cargo area to watch. The cargo area is 90" wide and 126" long with a full ramp door. When open you can pull down the screen to keep the bugs out, overhead are more storage cabinets. Outside it has an awning, Colorado carefree shades over the slides, two doors, and two jacking systems. One is electric the other is a Bigfoot hydraulic jacking system that has been updated. When new the jacking system cost $20K . Enclose belly that is supposed to be okay to minus 10 degrees. It has a generator that was changed to propane, but the carburetor is messed up. The mechanic is looking for a part rather than replace the whole carburetor. The last 5 years it has been stored inside and only moved 15 miles to where it sat beside the river. That is how long I have owned this enjoyable 5th wheel. It has been winterized by a dealer. I have installed a new Bigfoot contorl, but not being a computer knowledgeable person have not got it adjusted. For sale locally so might be removed at any time. More pictures are available if needed.
