Slight change of plans.
2008 Dodge Sprinter 2500 138,082 miles as of now
Ive taken this van on multiple road trips and NEVER had an issue! ! Parked on the side of the road multiple times and never had anyone knock or complain.
SUPER RELIABLE. Does NOT take DEF fluid! !
In my opinion only design flaw is that the back door behind aluminum case cant open because of the case. Still plenty of storage back there, just less width clearance.
*Gets 20-22MPG"s when doing 60-65mph with good road conditions!
*Queen size bed.
*Shower with water heater. Portable toilet is also kept in shower area, can be moved, never used.
*Home window AC unit attached to the underbody for when plugged in. Comes with adapter so you can plug van directly into a regular 120v home power outlet. (super convenient and easy to find on the road). AC has a remote control for interior control and theres a panel inside to control the AC as you would in your home.
*Honda 2000 generator in back steel case, for when plugging in is not an option. It was duct taped when bought to preserve body, as you can see in the pic it is dusty from driving but starts 1st pull EVERY TIME! Of course it does, its a HONDA!
*Back custom windows on both sides of Bed. Both open and both have mosquito netting.
*Dimmable lights, reading lights and regular lights in back.
*Plenty of storage above bed
*Small fridge. Brand new, never used, only plugged in once to test.
*Has a Solar system with inverter, charge controller and level monitor. Has 100 watt panel on top and golf cart batteries to hold charge. Solar system powers interior easily for a few days without needing to plug in. Ive gone over a week without plugging in with decent weather.
*Comes with window sun covers that fit this model specifically (paid $150) and mosquito screen front door window sleeves.
*Van AC is freezing cold.
*Added touch screen navigation/radio WITH BACKUP CAMERA! A Must have!
*New AMG Gel battery van starting battery. (Can get more, if needed, for a discounted $200 per battery if needed for upgrading solar)
