Vehicle description

2008 Cameo by Carriage 5th wheel camper RV, high end unit ready to go camping!
Our family has owned this camper for about 2 years now, we purchased it from the original owner who had used it less than a total of 10 times! Original purchase price of this unit was over $54K dollars in 2007, it was considered a "full timer" brand that was generally bought by older folks who intended on using the camper as a part time home. Do a little searching around, you"ll find MANY happy customers and many people wishing they had just bit the bullet and went with a quality unit over the complete junk most manufacturers build.
5/8" exterior grade tongue and groove plywood floors, R17 sidewalls and an R21 ceiling make it a very solid feeling and comfortable camper. We are a smoke and pet free couple (no kids for us or the original owner), there are NO funny smells or issues with the care of the interior of the camper. We have never (read. . NEVER) cooked inside, the stove was brand new/never used when we purchased it, the fridge works on both 12V and propane, freezer freezes, fridge cools perfectly. The microwave works when it wants, they are relatively easy and cheap to replace if desired.
Dry weight is 10,250. Loaded up with water, full propane tanks and camping "stuff" will have you close to 14K according to the literature and factory stickers. I have towed it with a 3/4 ton truck, I"ve seen units this size towed with a 1/2 ton. . but I wouldn"t recommend it.
Some high points:
1) Vinyl roof vs rubber membrane making the roof far more durable and requiring no maintenance other than light cleaning.
2) Solid cabinet doors, very nice solid feeling cabinets and drawers throughout.
3) Factory built with "performance package" (top of the line and included the features of ALL other lower packages also). This includes real Corian counter tops, Mor-Ryde upgraded suspension and air ride pin box, EZ lube axles with aluminum wheels, dim-able halogen lighting throughout and power rear stabilizing jacks.
4) Factory black tank flush, just hook up a hose and the tank is cleaned for you.
5) Outside shower with hot and cold water.
6) TONS of storage, full pass through basement up front and rear access to the back basement area.
7) Enclosed and insulated underbelly for a comfortable and safe extended camping season.
8) Brand new "euro" style recliners ($800 dollars).
9) Free standing solid oak dinette with 4 chairs (only two chairs shown and leaf stored for photos) 10) One piece fiberglass shower with skylight.
11) Washer/Dryer prep in bedroom closet.
12) NICE day/night shades, easy to operate and work perfectly.
13) Very easy to maintain and winterize.
14) 10 gallon DSI water heater than runs on both electric and/or propane.
15) Ducted AC that blows cold, floor ducted propane heat that keeps things nice and toasty! 16) Carefree brand power awning, no fighting with your awning, just push the button and watch it go.
17) ALL LED lighting, extra everything including bulbs, small interior and exterior parts.
18) Factory installed Fantastic fan with wall switch and auto vent (draws in or exhausts out, automatically raises and lowers vent).
19) 82 gallons of fresh water storage, enough to truly dry camp if desired.

This camper is ready to go, while in great shape for the age, it is still a ~13 year old camper and some areas of wear/tear will be noted. There was a small leak at the front slide prior to our purchase, it was fixed by the previous owner before any damage was done, we haven"t had an issue. A few marks and scrapes out side, the inside is close to mint beyond some scrapes/damage to the sofa which we keep covered. A portion of the screen door is ripped out, easy to replace I just never got around to it. Two exterior lights aren"t function, I think the bulb is blow or base is corroded.
Tires are less than 2 years old (E range), never need air and are in excellent condition with only about 900 miles on them. This camper will come with the basics you"ll need, water hose, sewer hose, front pin stabilizer for when parked, chocks, other odds and ends that generally come with a camper. There is a permanent mount TV in the living room with Dolby 5.1 (sub woofer, factory front and rear speakers, roof mount antenna and also a factory Satellite hook up outside.
There is simply too much to list here, I have done my best to describe it but I would encourage any and all questions or better yet, swing by and have a look in person and we can discuss anything you like!
Keep in mind you are looking at what was a HIGH END unit, this is not the typical garbage built campers you see on the road today. Full gel-coat exterior (not filon), better roof, double pane tinted frameless windows, super solid and very comfortable to stay and sleep in.
Camper is stored in North East, MD (21901). Please read and fuly understand that delivery is NOT included in the sale. I am happy to give you a quote on delivery within 100 miles but delivery is NOT included in the sales price. Seems like common sense thing but,. . you"d be surprised.
Cash at time of sale, clean and clear Maryland title in hand. I will also accept a LOCAL bank/credit union check with 3 business day hold.
NADA "Average" retail is $20,150 with no options added.
