2008 BMW 535I, 109K miles, needs a rear window. Project car or parts car?
I"ve owned this car since early 2014, bought car with approx. 74K miles, was used as daily driver until Dec 2019. We had record snow fall for a 24 hour period here in Tehachapi, CA. The car was parked outside under a steel framed canopy with fabric cover. Came out the next morning and the canopy had collapsed on the roof of the car. Steel tube broke the back window, slight damage to roof, paint scratched, etc.
Bought the wife a new car and parked the BMW, I was going to replace the window, but I really don"t have any need for the car at this time. I paid $18K when I bought it including a warranty. Car has had over $9K in repairs at Pacific BMW in Glendale, CA. No leaks, car doesn"t smoke or use oil. Was running xlnt when parked, started right up, battery tender on car. Interior is great, paint is now fair, rear tires are about 50%, front tires are new, Michelins Pilot Sports, 245-35-ZR20 Front, 275-30-ZR20 rears.
Includes new drilled and slotted brake rotors F&R, with new pads for front, can"t find the rears at this time. Also, AFE air filter kit. The reg is Non-op, clean title in my name.
Look at the photo"s, ask questions, sold AS-IS, no warranty or guarantee. I didn"t clean up the car, it"s been under a car cover since Dec. If you need parts or just looking for a project car, this might be for you.
