Vehicle description
SAVE Big over buying a new one ($8000+). These are great, lite weight, easy to tow and move around enclosed motorcycle trailers. I purchased my first of this design in 1999 when they were made by Excalibur in Milwaukee, and Ironhorse later took over production of these easy to load motorcycle trailers. I am only selling this as I recently purchased a double bike Ironhorse trailer and I have 3 trailers and only need 2. .
This is a 2007, that has always been stored inside, and used very little. . Tilt up tongue jack with a ball, makes for easy moving around on pavement even if bike is inside. Rear stabilizer jacks allow you to load bikes if not hooked to your vehicle. Spare tire include, as is the condor style tire stop and multiple d ring tie downs. (Straps in photos not included).
No need for a heavy truck or SUV to pull this trailer, due to it"s unique design and lite weight. Brakes are not needed on trailer.
This stores easily in any garage with a door height of 7" and width of 7".
Total length. 15"4" Body length 12" 6" Outside max width 6" 8" Inside width at wheel wells. 5" Overall height 6" 7" Empty weight says 765 lbs Axle capacity. 2000 lbs. 2" ball No brakes
I can offer delivery within about 500 miles of Grand Rapids Mi. for $1.10 a mile one way. PLEASE ask about delivery BEFORE you use the buy it now.
I had the wrap done a year or so ago, to "brighten up" this standard white gel coat trailer. Few chips in the red wrap, and tailgate gives the appearance from a distance that the tailgate is "open" with a bike inside. Always gets looks and comments. Wrap can easily be removed with water and a heat gun if you wish, but a pretty common practice these days to wrap cars, truck, vans, trailers etc.
These trailers are very desirable, and especially used as you save a bundle over new. I see them sell quickly here on ebay and elsewhere. This is not a titled trailer due to its weight, so the plate registration is what is given to new owner for registration in your state.
Paypal deposit of $1000 and balance due in cash if picking up, or wire transfer or check. If taking advantage of me delivering, trailer must be paid for in advance.
I can store trailer inside for a month or so, awaiting your pickup, but it must be paid for per terms listed. Note you can possibly get delivered by posting on uship.com where people bid to deliver your items.
