Vehicle description
This is a Vista Cruiser Mini that"s perfect for family getaways or a small home for a couple. It"s not getting enough use so I"m hoping to find some new owners. It"s located in Hillsdale NY.
It"s got a 2.7 Liter 5-Cylinder Mercedes Benz Turbocharged Diesel that gets around 18 mpg with under 22000 miles on it. It"s easy to drive on the highway and does fine in cities. All 6 tires are new and have about 3500 miles on them. The engine and brakes have been overhauled as well.
The interior has an overcab twin bed, a queen in the back, and the dining room table lowers into a bed as well. I took a three week trip with my family, two adults, three high school kids a few years ago and we all fit comfortably. Comes with a Jensen TV, Suburban furnace and water heater, Dometic AC and Refrigerator, three burner propane stove, Apollo microwave and Onan generator. The kitchen table with bench seats slides out.
There is some water damage to the unit. The ceiling has a leak somewhere from the roof but I can"t tell where the water is coming from. The unit has been covered for the most part and I can"t see any obvious places in the roof where water is getting in. The slide pull out also has some water damage underneath it and one of the rubber gaskets around the edge has come out. The floors still feel solid so I"m not sure how extensive the damage is. The counters are also starting to warp slightly around the edges. Over the winter some mice got into the unit and did some minor damage to the wiring. Because of this the rear camera is no longer functioning. The unit has been professionally cleaned and reupholstered where necessary. There is a new set of flood lights on the rear as well. There is some light cosmetic damage to the exterior as you can see in the rear picture. It"s been sealed and hasn"t been a problem.
For now the unit is totally usable but these are some things that will have to be addressed. I"ve already put a lot of money into restoring the unit so it comes as is but I like to be up front about these types of things.
The entire engine and break system was checked professionally about two months ago. I just took it down to Texas and back from New York with my girlfriend and every system is working well. I really enjoyed it so I"m sad to see it go. I think it"s a perfect size for two people to stay in long term if you"re the adventurous type.
If you have any other questions or would like more info, pictures, etc. I"m happy to send whatever you need. If you prefer to contact me via phone send me an email and I"ll send my number along. Thanks!
