Vehicle description
2007 GMC Canyon Reefer
Inline 5 cylinder 3.7L. Auto transmission with overdrive. 248,000 miles. 2 wheel drive.
This little unit has spent a good many years facilitating ‘Farm to Table’ home deliveries in south eastern Pennsylvania. The last few years it has been used as a spare. The lower level has space enough for 70 milk crates. 5 across and 7 Long 2 high. The top level has similar space although the refeer unit interferes with some of the area.
The Italian make Zanotti refeer is a 110V system. It runs off an inverter that is mounted behind the drivers seat. There is also a plug on the front corner of the box that allows you to plug the unit into a 110v outlet while you are parked.
The reefer is currently not working properly. Even when the reefer was working it was not adequate for our needs. We opened the doors often throughout the day and the reefer struggled to recover. We typically used crushed ice to keep our product cold.
The front tires are almost new. The rear tires are about half tread.
This truck runs good. The air conditioner is cold.
The heater core has a leak. This could be bypassed however you would have no cab heat. It’s a slow leak so we’ve just been watching the coolant level and adding as needed.
