2007 Gillig Phantom transit bus. Former DASH (Alexandria, Virginia). 35 feet long, 96" wide VIN: 15GCB211771112477 Cummins ISM 280 HP turbo diesel (EPA 2007); Allison B400R 5 speed automatic transmission 273,344 miles at time of retirement - approximately 277,000 miles currently Engine/transmission replaced at 240,000 miles (approximately 37,000 miles on new engine) Seats 37 Air conditioner (works excellent) New USSC air ride driver"s seat Wheelchair lift I"ve had the following maintenance performed on the bus: Replaced gasket & seal on power steering pump Replaced alternator seal Replaced front wheel seals Replaced hydraulic oil cooler and installed new fan Replaced hydraulic hose, hydraulic oil reservoir dipstick & breather, all hydraulic filters Replaced right rear air bag Rebuilt rear axle brake relay valve Replaced air regulator valves Replaced foot valve assembly at service brake Replaced left rear leveling valve
Replaced A/C compressor shaft seal Replaced alternator return hose Replaced slip yolk Replaced A/C condenser motor brushes (both motors) Replaced engine breather hose Full service (lube coach, replace engine & transmission oil & filters, fuel filters, flush and refill coolant, change coolant filter) Front tires in good condition (one is new); rear tires have minimal tread, but are drivable. Bus starts right up and runs excellent. No known issues.
I have maintenance records for this bus, providing mileage (and mileage on new engine) and electronic copies of the Gillig parts, service, electrical schematics and driver"s manuals.
Front and side destination signs are NOT included, but are available at an additional cost. Otherwise, bus is sold as shown in photos.
