2007 Gillig Phantom suburban transit bus. Former Skagit Transit (Bellingham, Washington). 40 feet long, 102" wide VIN: 15GCD271271112856 Cummins ISL 330 HP turbo diesel (EPA 2007); Allison B400R 6 speed automatic transmission Approximately 555,000 miles Engine/transmission replaced at January 2014 at 344,000 miles (approximately 210,000 miles on replacement engine) Seats 43 Upholstered high back, reclining passenger seats with foot rests Luggage racks with individual LED reading lights and air vent controls Air conditioner (works excellent) Recaro air ride driver"s seat Upgraded Dialight LED headlights (low beam only - high beams are halogens, not LED as shown in video ) Bicycle rack Wheelchair lift Front tires in good condition; rear tires have medium amount of tread. This bus was used for highway service, and since it is 330 HP (most Cummins transit bus engines are configured at 280 HP), it has plenty of power. It also has a 6th gear for highway driving and improved fuel economy. Bus is quiet on the freeway and runs excellent. The interior is in almost new condition. No rips or tears in the upholstery. No damage or cracks in any of the glass or any interior panels. The road side center metal panel on the exterior of the bus has some waviness in it, but that is a minor cosmetic detail. Front cap of bus has some rock chips from freeway driving, but no damage to glass.
I have maintenance records for this bus, proving mileage (and mileage on replacement engine) and electronic AND hard copies of the Gillig parts, service, electrical schematics and driver"s manuals.
Front, side and rear destination signs are included and function (Luminator Horizon amber LED), however you will need an ODK (driver control panel) to get them to function . Steel lock plate visible on front steps in video is not included. Low beam LED headlights only are included (high beams are halogen).
