Vehicle description
2007 Freightliner Columbia. 515 HP Detroit, 10 speed Eaton transmission. Clean and solid truck, runs great, no smoking or blowby. 8 brand new caps on the back (I had my own virgin casings capped), front tires are legal but I would replace them. New brakes and drums, all new hoses and belts,
I bought this truck (one of three identical trucks) just before the covid pandemic killed business. We put a lot of time and money into it expecting it to go to work. but between covid cancelling my contract and then two heart attacks I am throwing in the towel. This is the last of the "sisters" I bought and I have hung onto it for about a year, but I have decided to retire and thus it is for sale.
It could use some TLC to take care of the last details but I believe this will make someone a good dependable truck. 2007 was the last year without the DEF and emissions and as many of us can testify this is the engine you want.
The odometer shows around 250,000 miles but it is obvious the instrument cluster has been replaced. The other trucks were in the low 700,00 miles and when I bought it I was assured this one is about the same.
It looks fine from 50 feet away but the paint is poor and the hood especially needs paint.
Please notice in the pictures that the frame and differentials still have paint . unlike so many in the Northeast that are rusted away. Naturally it has aluminum fuel tanks and of course aluminum wheels.
Anyway . . my loss can be your gain. She isn"t fancy but we don"t get paid for fancy.
Ebay won"t let me post a phone number but if you have questions send me yours and I will call you.
Don"t bid if you aren"t serious and ask all questions or come see it before bidding.
