Hello,
Listed today is a 2007 Coachmen Travel Trailer. This is the Spirit of America series. The model number is 24RBQ.
We bought this camper used about 4 years ago. We have been the only users of it during this time. It has treated us very well. The interior of the camper is in really good shape. Please refer to the pictures. It was used by non-smokers, but we did bring ours pets along. All the appliances function as they should. The unit is equipped with ducted Air Conditioning. It works very well. The furnace however does not start up. I have not investigated it. It could be something simple or it could be screwed. I do not know. We have never used the camper during times when it got cold, so it was never something I ever bothered with.
Looking around the inside of the camper, there is a lot of storage above the kitchen area, loveseat and above the dinette. The love seat has storage under it. The love seat folds out and becomes a double bed. The dinette collapses and becomes a double bed. Both areas are not incredibly big for an adult, but they work great for kids. In the front of the camper, there is a queen bed. Tons of storage underneath it and all around. There are two skylights in the camper. These were replaced last year. The skylight in the bathroom has a fan for exhaust. The blinds are on every window and they function as they should. Some are dinged up from normal use but they work well. The camper is equipped with a propane gas detector and smoke detector.
We noticed during the first year that we used the camper, that there was a soft spot on the floor beneath the dinette. I opened the floor and made the necessary repairs. The floor, although soft, was all dry. Obviously at some point, there was moisture that caused the problem, but all is good since the repair. Walking around on the roof, I noticed that there is a small soft spot on the front passenger side of the camper. I have not repaired the soft spot as it does not carry any weight. I have just made sure to pay extra attention to the seals in this area. I am guessing this is where the water got into that caused the damage to the floor beneath the dinette. There also is a small soft spot above the bathroom area. With these problem areas, there is absolutely no signs of moisture if you were to inspect the ceiling inside the camper. No water spots and no obvious active leaks.
Two years ago, I replaced all four tires on the camper. It comes with a spare tire mounted to the back. I also installed a "tornado" system in the black water tank. This is used to clean the black water tank by hooking up a hose to the connection below the trailer. We installed a flat panel TV that we will leave in the camper. I will also include stabilizer jacks. Another feature I installed is an electric tongue jack. This comes in so handy. The battery on the camper is always plugged in and on trickle charge.
Looking at the outside of the camper, the paint and decals are showing some age but are still in decent shape. There is some fading. The camper is equipped with a manual spring-assisted awning. The awning is still in great shape with little to no staining. There are no tears or problems with it. There is an outside faucet with hot and cold water. Comes with two 20-pound propane tanks. The trailer has an exceptionally large storage area the is the whole width of the camper located in the front. This is combined with a large storage area underneath the queen bed. The frame of the trailer shows some rust but does not seem to be out of the ordinary for its age.
Here are some specs for the trailer.
24 Feet Long 4,518 Pound Dry Weight 5,990 Pound Gross Weight 30 Amp Electric Electric Tongue Jack (2) 20 lb Propane Tanks 19’ Spring-assisted Awning 6 Gallon Hot Water Tank 10 Cubic Foot Refrigerator 36 Gallon Fresh Water Tank 27 Gallon Grey Water Tank 30 Gallon Black Water Tank 13,000 BTU AC and Furnace
The camper is currently not inspected. Just have not had time. I see no reason why it would not pass.
I have tried my best to describe this camper in detail. Obviously, if I wanted to, I could have omitted problems with the roof and you might not even notice but I wanted to be completely honest and thorough. If you have any questions, please let me know. The camper is sold as is, where is. There is no warranty. If you see this listing, I still have it. Payment can be made by cashier"s check or cash. To pull the trailer, you will need a 2-15/16 ball. I have a clean title in hand. Not included with the camper is the weight distributing hitch.
