Ford V10 Gasoline Engine. Slide Out, Awning, Sleeps 6, A/C Unit.
Above the front cab are storage cabinets (no bed) with sound system and TV. Lots of storage. Original TV on the right has been replaced with a flat screen TV, with a spacious storage cabinet behind (in front) of it. There is a matching storage cabinet on the left. Entrance door is just behind the passenger seat on the right side.
Single long slide-out on left side, containing a sofa in front and a breakfast table and two seats behind it. Storage cabinets all long the upper edge of the slide-out. Kitchen facilities on the right side start at the entrance door and include, going back, sink, stovetop, with convection oven below and microwave above, storage cabinets and drawers, and refrigerator/freezer.
The diagram below shows the floor plan from the bedroom forward. The only part missing to the right is the rest of the sofa, the entrance door opposite it, and the cab. Note that there is no slide-out in the back and the bed is a double bed and not twins. The bathroom is divided into the toilet compartment on the left and the shower on the right of the passageway.
Mechanical:
The engine was replaced with a rebuilt engine in 2020. Engine mileage: about 1000. The differential was replaced about five years ago.
The manufacturer’s service schedule has been carefully adhered to throughout the life of the vehicle. Maintenance receipts for the entire life of the vehicle are provided.
The cabin water pump (in the rear near the fresh water tank) has been replaced and a second water pump installed in parallel with it to provide backup. A switch controls which pump is active. The roof is in excellent condition.
History:
Bought new in the spring of 2007, from a dealer in Atlanta, Georgia.
The vehicle has been used for about three long trips almost every year since purchase. The actual speedometer mileage is 146,135.
The original black-and-white back-up camera has been replaced with a color camera and screen.
The vehicle has never been in an accident. I have backed into a few posts while parking. The rear bumper is slightly twisted and the plastic end caps for the bumper are missing.
Known Problems:
The cabin furnace does not light properly. The igniter works but apparently there is a problem with the propane line to the furnace. The hot water heater works fine, so the problem is in the line and not the tank.
The following problems have existed for a long time. The reason they have not been fixed is that none of them impair the usability of the vehicle at all.
-The original gage that shows how full the cabin tanks are (fresh water, black water, and gray water) stopped working a number of years ago. I replaced it with another gage but I could never get it to work properly.
-The roll-out awning needs to be replaced.
-The TV antenna needs to be replaced.
-Crack in windshield does not leak.
