Vehicle description

2006 Sunline Solaris Classic SE T-2499 Travel Trailer-Private Owner, Clear Title.
Many people say Sunline was the best camper ever made . I would love to see this camper go to someone who will appreciate its quality ! Before I take anymore of your time, I want to let you know that it has some water damage. The damage appears to have come from the front roof seam, and there is a small section in the back rear corner of the roof that leaked. There are three spots on the interior ceiling (photos included). The seams were sealed and all was well, until it happened again, so the camper is currently tarped. Other than that and some minor issues, the camper was meticulously maintained and has had little use. Here are some of the features: Ducted Central A/C with adjustable vents throughout the coach Maxx Fan with three speeds, thermostat and reverse Two Maxx Air Vent Covers over the other two fans. (The inner plastic covers need to be replaced, $20.00 ea.) Unloaded Vehicle Weight: 4785 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating: 7000 lbs. Interior Height: 6"-6" Fresh Water: 40 Gallons Gray Water: 35 Gallons Black Water: 30 Gallons Ducted Furnace (BTU"s): 25,000 Water Heater: 6 Gallon, runs on propane or electric Roof Antenna for Radio Roof Antenna for TV Power Tongue Jack with Light (can be used manually) Built-In Stabilizing Jacks (4) 30 AMP Service Built-In L.P Gas, Smoke, and CO Detectors inside Aluminum Sport Wheels Aluminum Diamond Plate Covered Steel Bumper Aluminum Diamond Plate Rock Guard in Front Fiberglass Exterior w/Sport Graphics Heated Fresh Water Tank (may need to replace rubber pad) Heated Black and Gray Water Tanks (may need to replace rubber pads) Outside Shower with Hot and Cold Water Flex Steel Sofa Easily Converts to a Bed (always covered) Mortise and Tenon Cabinet Doors Plywood Decking for Luggage Boxes and Bed Lids Weyerhaeuser Water Resistant Structurwood Floor (25 year warranty) 2 TV Jacks Inside, one with 12v outlet and power booster Outside Cable Hookup Exterior Electric Receptacle AM/FM/CD Player with 4 Ceiling Speakers Fridge Runs on Gas or Electric (cold, super clean, never moldy, no bad smells) Double Sink in Kitchen, excellent condition Double 12V Batteries out front with shut off switch (batteries need to be replaced) Locking Water Fill & Power Cord Doors 17" Awning, vinyl replaced by dealer, never used HUGE 28" wide pass-through storage, which spans the width of the coach Upgraded most of the interior lights to LED"s Full-Size Spare Tire with Original Sunline Cover All four tires, less than 1,000 miles, always covered Rear Hitch w/2" Receiver- -carry generator, bikes . . . Four Electric Drum Brakes- -serviced less than 1,000 miles ago Two Entrance Doors with folding, built-in, carpeted steps Non-Smoking Dual Axle Double Propane Tanks with Hard Plastic, hinged cover Spacious Open Floor Plan Huge Picture Window in the Living Room Sealand Porcelain Toilet w/ Foot Flush (no stains) Shower recently caulked, self-cleaning roll-up shower door, like new Exterior Vinyl Decals and Logos in very good condition Lots of Interior Storage HUGE Pull Out Pantry (see photo) Queen Bed, mattress perfect top and bottom (always covered). Original bedspread, pillow shams and throw pillows, freshly laundered Stove/Oven barely used, like new
There is another handy, large, outside storage space for cords, hoses and more. It"s that big door half way down on the left side. This camper has the smooth fiberglass siding, which is much easier to clean. It looks tight and solid on the camper in all areas except for the front, which you can see from the photo. The toilet, shower, kitchen and bathroom sinks, stove and oven look barely used. This camper was gently used and not cooked in often. It is a non-smoking camper and does not have any strong odors. There is some damage to the carpeting in the rear, a 1" x 2" hole and some stains. The original vinyl flooring is under the carpet, so you could just remove the carpet if you prefer. The camper was never in any accidents and other than the water damage, the awning struts (see next paragraph), the carpet, and minor repairs, it is in great condition. Awning Struts: There are four lower bolts that hold the awning struts to the side of the camper and they are loose. They partially pulled out of the wood, so you will need to secure (or remove) the awning before moving the camper. The bolts do not tighten. The top bolts seem secure, but should be checked as well. Minor Repairs may include wood screws holding shades/window dressings, one of the day/nightshades needs new string, the rear bumper is hollow 4" x 4" steel covered with aluminum diamond plate, one end of it is banged up a bit, which can easily be straightened, some of the bulbs in the running lights may need to be replaced, a few of the lenses may be cracked. Window dressings for the picture window are included, but need to be re-hung. These are some of the minor issues, but please keep in mind, this is a used camper, so there may be others. Also included: Original owners manuals in original ring binder with Sunline logo, approximately 2" thick. Includes manuals and information for all appliances, fixtures, vents, fans, radio, furnace, hot water heater, fridge, microwave, stove, toilet . . . I took this trailer on a trip about two years ago, then had it winterized. The last time I used it, all appliances and systems worked well, the A/C was strong and cold, as was the fridge, and the furnace was warm. Frame: The Sunline T-2499 has a heavy tongue weight due to the unique floor plan. SomeT-2499’s had problems with the frames cracking, due to this issue. This camper was affected and a small crack developed in the front cross beam, near the A-frame, which I noticed early on. I opted to have it repaired by the original Sunline frame builder, “Lippert”, in Denver, PA. They replaced the affected parts with a heavier gauge steel. The repair cost approximately $2,000.00. If you are looking for a T-2499, please be aware that the frame can be a major problem. This one has been rectified.
Sanitized: The entire camper was cleaned and sanitized inside and out, including carpets, upholstery, sinks, toilet, shower, mirrors and windows and has not been used since. I"ve described this trailer to the best of my ability, but it is used and I"m not an expert. You are welcome to come and look at it on the weekends, so please contact me as soon as possible to make an appointment if you would like to see it. Also, please contact me with any questions or if you need additional photos. Please come prepared with tools, 12v batteries, rope, duct tape, ladder, license plate, air compressor for tires, spare 12v bulbs for exterior lights . . . anything you might need to make a safe trip home. The trailer has been parked for two years, so it is up to you to prepare it for safe travel by checking everything before you leave . Please pick it up on a dry day. It’s up to you to do a safety check before towing this vehicle, as I cannot be held liable once the camper changes title and leaves the property. Included with this trailer is the complete Reese Weight Distribution hitch set-up with Sway Control including: Reese Dual Cam High-Performance Sway Control parts welded to the A-frame, the snap-up brackets to hook the chains from the sway control, Reese trunnion bars rated V-5,800/10,000/800, tilt-head, 2 5/16” ball, adjustable shank. Approximate Value: $1,000.00 Free Extras: I will be throwing in some extra items, such as four new gallons of RV antifreeze, six tubes of Dicor Lap Seal, some co-ax cable, an extra stabilizing jack crank and other little odds and ends that pertain to camping. The awning crank and "pull" and the pipe to hookup the spring bars is also included. By the time the auction ends, I may have rounded up a few more things too. Payment Requirements Plus: $500.00 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit via PayPal within 24 hours, then either a cashier"s check or personal check is acceptable, but it must be sent by mail, received within 7 days of auction close, AND clear the bank before arrangements are made to pick up the camper. The title needs to be signed over and then put in your name, so you will have the new plates to transport the vehicle. I will also need to see a copy of the new title, to insure it was transferred to you prior to pickup. I will be happy to send my title by certified mail, so you can take care of this prior to transport. This trailer is being sold AS-IS . You will not be permitted to test anything other than interior lights and fans, and exterior lights and brakes, due to the camper being winterized, and since it hasn’t been used in a while, all systems should be safety checked prior to testing, which cannot be done here. No refunds or returns and no warranties. I reserve the right to cancel any bid or end the auction early. NOTE: Serious bidders only please ! You MUST have a POSITIVE FEEDBACK rating before bidding, thank you .
