Vehicle description
Non paying bidder has forced me to relist. If you don"t plan on following through, please do not bid. 2006 Roadtrek 190 Popular 89,354 miles. 6.0L, 4L80E 4 speed transmission. Built on the Chevrolet Express 3500 series (one ton chassis). Clean title in hand. Purchased 4 months ago to use for summer traveling. I have personally driven 8,000 miles and it never missed a beat. Tons of work done in the last 4 months including Replaced both batteries Upgraded all headlights to LED Upgraded most interior lights to LED Changed generator oil with synthetic Engine has had two synthetic oil changes Transmission fluid and filter changed Differential fluid changed 4 new tires Front end alignment New plugs and wires New wiper blades New starter New fan clutch New A/C belt and serpentine belt Rebuilt kitchen faucet Replaced sewer hose New 18.5" HD TV Replaced original radio with Pioneer touch screen with Android Auto / Apple Car Play Replaced both front speakers New windshield I see no reason why this is not ready to go anywhere. Everything mechanical works as it should including all windows, locks, cruise, A/C, heat, etc. Oil pressure is strong, temperature hovers well below 210 while driving and right at 210 when idling in 90 degree weather with the A/C on. Everything RV related works as it should including: Dometic fridge works on 12V, 120V, and gas Roof A/C - Heat Pump combo Propane hot water heater Propane furnace Dometic microwave Fantastic fan Range hood and light Propane stove Toilet Indoor shower Outdoor shower handle/hose is still in original packaging and has never been used Crank out awning Wineguard TV antenna and amplifier Onan 2.8 generator with 122 hours (occasionally stalls once after a few minutes but starts right back up and seems to be OK after) Tripp Lite 750 Watt automatic inverter / power converter / battery charger Shur Flo water pump 2 fresh water tanks totaling 31 gallons. Smoke detector, CO detector and propane detector All lights work Has a screen kit for the front doors Seats and cushions are in perfect condition Even though this is in great condition, it is a 14 year old RV. There is some of the famous white paint peeling in a few areas that are not readily visible (door hinges, door edges etc.). Some more visible spots have been touched up. Hood and front fenders have no peeling so they may have been repainted at one point. Vinyl graphics have some pieces that have flaked off. Some people have just chosen to remove the graphics all together. There are some scratches on the lower ground effects from scraping against curbs. Pictures will show all of these disclosures. In an effort to be completely transparent, these are the issues I"m aware of. The transmission has a whine in first gear. Out of an abundance of caution, I had my mechanic change the fluid. He said the old fluid was clean and showed no signs of wear. When that didn"t solve the problem, I made him take the pan down to inspect for any metal filings in the pan and to check and replace the transmission filter. Again, he found nothing. It"s been this way for the last 8000 miles and I have no reason to believe this is a problem. The front brakes have a very mild shudder under heavy braking. If I were keeping this, I would likely do front brakes and rotors but as you can see by the list above, I do things well before they actually need to be done so there is no need to do this right away. There are no leaks anywhere (the windshield was leaking a little when I bought it but I had that replaced). Most 2006 models have the macerator pump but for some reason, this one doesn"t have it. I don"t know why, but I feel that is one less thing to malfunction. If you"ve ever owned an RV before, you will know that the holding tanks will NEVER read empty once you start using them. Other than that, the monitor panel reads everything else correctly. Original carpet is in fair condition. Not sure what color it was originally but it"s a faded yellow now. The drivers side floor mat is missing. Some of the plastic clips used to hold the curtains on the tracks had broken off from the heat. I bought the replacement material but it needs a strong sewing machine to stitch it which I don’t have. I have used heavy duty staples to hold on the new clips so that the curtains are fully functional. I have left the extra tape in the RV if you would like to stitch it onto the curtains. The passenger side electric lumbar support doesn’t work. I was traveling alone so I didn’t bother fixing it. The Roadtrek is a well known brand and they were the flagship of Class B motorhomes. It never once failed to get me to my destination or failed to operate as needed to live out of. It has served my purpose and now it’s time for another family to enjoy it. Feel free to ask any questions. RV is for sale locally as well so I reserve the right to end the auction early.
