Downsized my business during Covid- Don"t really need this size truck anymore. I don"t need to sell immediately and will not entertain any ridiculous offers. This truck was originally a Texas truck, therefore has no significant rust issues frame or body. In most places frame looks like brand new. We only used this truck for long highway travel. This was not a local truck whatsoever. This truck was brought to Pennsylvania a few years back and we converted it to a box truck in 2020 with a 2016 Supreme Box with Maxxon 1600# Rail Liftgate. We also installed a 100 Gallon Freightliner Diesel Tank in addition to the factory 33 Gallon Capacity. It has a 2 (In-Cab) Fuel switches, one to send fuel from 100 gallon Tank to the main tank. One is a reserve 10 Gallon emergency tank. Truck gets about 10-11 mpg empty and 9-10 mpg towing a trailer, so effective range is somewhere between 1050 miles and 1200 miles. I never pushed it that far, and would usually fill up at 1000 miles. This is a fantastic feature for those wanting a Hotshot truck and only want to fuel up every 3 days.
As far as the engine and trans, this truck is a monster. I routinely travelled with the box full while pulling a 20" 10k Pound trailer and this Duramax/ Allison passes every other truck up the mountain and the turbo brake gets you safely down the other side of the mountain. My biggest trailer loaded weighs in at 14k pounds and this truck pulls it with no issues or lack of power. Cruise control works great. Because I only used this truck for highway trips, I really maintained it religiously , mostly at the truck dealer. See the below list for recent maintenance items.
Interior features 6 passenger seating. Seats are in great shape, the drivers seat was new in 2020(original one didn"t have armrest) and passenger seats were hardly ever used. I just reinstalled them, I had a bed in the back and only had the drivers seat installed. Air conditioning works great on the hottest summer days, the heat is strong in the winter with 2 heating zones- front and back.
