2005 Thomas Saf-T Liner * SKOOLIE * High Roof - ceiling measures 77" 78 Passenger Mileage: ~131k VIN: 1T88R4C2X51160336 Title in hand Runs great! Zero rust! Air brakes Diesel fuel motor (Caterpillar) Automatic Transmission Purchased the bus back in May 2020. It was driven from Tennessee - > Mississippi - > Austin, TX - > Houston, TX (where it is currently kept.) and did not have any issues. Had a diesel mechanic look it over and he gave it a clean bill of health overall.
Spent the last few months gutting and converting into a Skoolie. All the hard & dirty work is done! It"s now ready for someone to build it out and make it their own! Here"s what was done so far. . Installed two (2) new batteries Removed seats Removed interior heater and plugs coolant lines Removed original flooring Plugged holes in floor (left behind from seat bolts/screws Removed wall and ceiling panels Primed (2 coats) floor with Rustoleum Painted (2 coats) floor with Rustoleum Removed all windows, cleaned and resealed Resealed upper emergency exits Resealed above windows (exterior) to prevent leaking Installed sound deadening material (Kilmat 80 mil.) on floor, wheel wells and engine cover Installed insulation board on floor Installed subfloor plywood on floor Framed out wheel wells Framed out side walls, up to bottom of windows Please review pictures in this posting and a video here - https:/ youtu.be/qEsX7toXP3U
Although the bus is in excellent driving condition, there are a couple of things that need to be done. . Install "passenger side" windshield wiper motor and wiper assembly. Old motor and assembly still inside bus for reference. RPM Gauge does not work
