Vehicle description
Truck is ready to work. Opened the door to bigger opportunities.
It’s a long wheel base which is great for heavy trucks. It’s a Century 3224. 16 ton. I don’t do any long hauling. Mostly just to get them off the interstate. That being said, I’ve probably pushed the limits hauling more than I should but it has moved, steered, and braked extremely well considering.
I’m just finishing a deal on a bigger truck (45 ton)and am only listing this to see if I can get a 35 ton I have a short window on. If not, I will happily use this until I see another opportunity for a decent truck.
This wrecker is the perfect starter truck into the heavy market. As soon as it was parked in my yard, the phone was ringing for bigger trucks without much advertising. It’s loaded with everything to get you started.
This is a 2005. Financing is a little easier because of that. I still owe money on it. Title is “NOT” a salvage title. Beacon holds it.
I am located In VT, truck came from PA. The airport code for Burlington International Airport (BTV). My shop is 15 minutes from the airport. Delivery is available for costs plus a fee depending on days I’m gone. I would drive this anywhere.
The phone number is on the truck. Call me night or day. I’ll answer all questions as honest as I can.
I’m putting a buy it now for whoever thinks they would like to skip the auction. That’s how do it usually. It’s a bit higher than my reserve. But I won’t reveal the reserve. Please don’t ask. Once the reserve is met, it will be sold on eBay.
May consider an older IH rollback or long wheel base 4x4 wrecker as partial.
