Truck has either a bad head gasket OR cracked head. Unfortunately we no longer have any certified fuso mechanics in our area.We have been using it as a backup truck for the last 5 years not using it every day. But due to not having any qualified mechanics in our area to work on it we"re going to have to let it go and move another truck into that position.It has new injectors (~$5k), new highpressuer fuel pump (~$5k), new exhaust brake and lots of other related parts. At the moment it either has a cracked head OR bad head gasket. I"m thinking the head gasket is the more likely option but I don"t know as the dealer in our area won"t work on them (they weren"t the dealer still Daimler-benz bought and ruined fuso) so they don"t have a certified tech and another repair shop lost their guy to. They were going to just put a new engine in it for me but can"t find one preassembled so they can"t do it either.That said I"m thinking some of yall in more metro areas could likely find help. I"m cutting my losses after spending about $15k in the last 2 years.Cab was repainted in 2019 due to a slight wreck that scratched up the drivers door pretty bad.
