Vehicle description

Up for sale is a unique camper/motor home/RV conversion truck based on a GMC C5500 Topkick U Haul chassis.
Great truck for towing your favorite toys.
- 2005 GMC C5500 Topkick with 8.1L V8 gasoline engine and Allison Automatic Transmission. 127k miles. Ex U Haul chassis.
- 2009 Fun Finder X 160 trailer camper. Well maintained. Barely used. Rust free FL camper.
I have clean FL titles for both the truck and the trailer.
Classed as a Motor Home and weighs 12,080 lbs.
TRUCK VIN: 1GDG5C1E75F904648
CAMPER VIN: 5RXTA161791016524
* * Contents of the truck boxes on the rear platform are not included.
The Camper entrance is 43" off the ground. Comes with a removable 5 step x 24" wide Brophy Camper Scissor Steps (not pictured).
The tongue and axles were removed from the the Fun Finder. It is mounted to the truck chassis via box sections which are bolted and welded together. The side covers are secured with bolts and can be removed to service the truck or the Fun Finder.
Everything on the Fun Finder works flawlessly. It is 10 years old but spent a lot of time sitting around. No leaks.
Toilet, shower, pumps, tanks, stove, microwave, fridge, TV, stereo, it all works. The awning works and legs reach the ground. The propane hookup is in place. The camper is wired to the truck batteries located between the cab and camper so the 12 volt side of the Fun Finder functions properly.
The truck has a tendency to draw down the battery so I installed a kill switch on the battery box as seen in the pictures. The batteries are high quality Red Top batteries held in place with proper battery trays.
I did the following to the truck when I purchased it from U Haul:
- Oil Change
- Transmission Fluid Change.
- New front brake lines, calipers and pads.
- Spark Plugs.
- Coils.
- Wipers.
- Filter change (intake, engine, trans, power steering, fuel).
- Air Filter.
- Power Steering hoses.
The chassis is shorter than a stock U Haul chassis. I cut about 6" off the original chassis so trailer load is closer to the rear axle. It comes with class V tow bar and trailer wiring. The rear platform can be removed and fitted with a goose neck.
Tires on the truck have seen better days. Probably be a good idea to replace them ASAP. No trailer brake controller. Comes with a spare new set calipers and brake pads (fits both front and back).
No leaks.
