Vehicle description
SELLING AT NO RESERVE. I’m retiring from the classic car business and no longer need a rollback, so I’m selling my Freightliner. It has a Mercedes Diesel, performs well, powerful too, and an Allison Automatic Transmission that performs great. Wheel lift works great too. It has a 21 foot aluminium bed that’s in great condition and not abused. Dual controls, chains, straps, etc you need to operate will come with it. Tool box on passenger side. 80 gallon fuel tank. Heat works great and air works but it could be colder. Radio doesn’t work. I may put one in it before the weeks out. I have several. Paint is just ok. Someone repainted it, and it has a few runs in it. Doesn’t bother me. Still looks good. Light bar works, and all other lights have been upgraded to led lights. I put a new master cylnder in in last month. You can begin working this truck the day you buy it, and can drive it anywhere. The odometer has been working halfway since I bought it a year ago, sometimes it shows the miles, sometimes it shows half the miles. When I bought it, it showed 315k and something, but lately it just shows a few digits. Doesn’t bother me ether as these Mercedes diesels are good for several more hundred thousand miles than 300K. It has a minor oil leak somewhere up front, I think it’s a flex line, but isn’t bad enough for me to fix. The bed works good, the winch does too and you have to get it set just right to free wheel to let it out freely. PTO works good, idle it up or down, and the truck has the heavy duty rear with 22.5 wheels all around. Bid to own it as the high bidder will be the new owner. Like I said, I have no use for it anymore. At 65, I’m ready to retire and take her easy. The buy it now price is reasonable for a good rollback, so message me if you want to just buy it now. If you have less than 5 positive feedbacks, Please contact me before bidding. The Truck is being sold as is, as it was when I bought it, then drove it back from Maryland. No the truck is not rusty, as it set for many years unused by an older gentleman in his warehouse. And as always, questions will be cheerfully answered. I will add more pictures Saturday. I just wanted to get it on here on Friday. The interior is in decent shape. Not torn except a little in drivers seat. All gauges work fine, except the dang digital speedo. Thanks, and happy bidding, Rock. On Apr-02-20 at 14:09:12 PDT, seller added the following information: Installed 2 new front tires on it Tuesday. The others were about 30 percent, time to throw them away. I’ve also reduced my buy it now price, if anyone would like to buy a good rollback before the last min bidders try to get in. Thanks, Rock.
