Vehicle description

2005 F550 4x4 with only 85K miles on the clock. 6.0 Powerstroke Diesel coupled to a 5 speed manual transmission. Manual transfer case and PTO. Chevron aluminum bed. 8.5" Fisher EZ-V plow setup. Extremely rare color and options.
The truck was owned by a body shop for the first 12 years of its life and was used primarily for moving cars between shops. I purchased it in late 2017 to move my personal car collection between properties and to plow my driveway. I searched for over a year to find a 4x4 Ford rollback with a plow setup that was not beaten to death.
Over the last 3 years I have only put about 1000 miles on the truck, but have invested nearly $22K in repairs (receipts to prove it) to make this truck ready to haul anything anywhere. All the repairs were done in the last 700 or so miles. Repairs include, but are not limited to: New transmission, mount, clutch, slave cylinder Rebuilt driveshaft and center bearing New rotors, pads, hoses, shoes, calipers, emergency brake pedal and cables - everything in the braking system was fully serviced New Radiator and hoses Coolant flush New Water pump New Idler pulley New Serpentine belt New Wiper transmission New Wiper blades New backup alarm Fuel tank sender 2 new batteries 6 new tires New winch cable New hydraulic control station New hydraulic hoses throughout New tilt cylinders New hydraulic filtration system Hydraulic system flush and service The truck has a few dings here and there, but the interior and exterior show very well. The plow works well, but needs a couple of patches on the front sheet metal. The toolboxes are junk and should be replaced if you need the storage. I keep the straps (pictured and included with the sale) behind the seat so I was never compelled to replace the toolboxes.
Career has left me without time to play with my collection and the truck does not get the exercise that it needs to stay fresh.
This would make a great truck for someone starting a business who doesn"t have the $100K+ for new and can"t stomach $50K for a worn-out AAA throw-away with 300K miles. The truck runs excellent and I would not hesitate to drive it cross-country tomorrow.
