These Cummins engines are exceptionally well regarded thanks to their proven record: long lasting, fuel efficient, and inexpensive to maintain. This Cummins engine cranks right up, it has a very steady idle, there are no abnormal noises or vibrations, and it has abundant muscle to move this truck! All the gears on the automatic transmission are engaging properly, shifting smoothly, and pulling strong. The truck easily reaches highway speeds, it has a straight ride, the suspension feels snug and tight, and the braking is strong and even. Another outstanding feature on this dump truck is the extra capacity dump bed. It is 8" 2" wide, and 103" long. Furthermore, the tailgate can swing like a normal dump gate, it can fold down to extend the length of the flatbed, or it can be easily removed. This easily accommodates pallets, equipment, decorative rock, and much more, while making it very easy to load and unload. As can be expected on a pre-owned truck, there are some flaws and details. Known details are: the expected dings, scratches, and dents, the front seat has tears (although the seat cover makes them invisible), the front bumper has a dent on the bottom center, and the windshield has the wiper semicircle marks on it. Most of this detail are evident on the pictures and video. Details aside, we have been very impressed with the performance and condition of this truck! We have driven it in city traffic, on the highway, in hilly and flat roads, and it has performed solid every time. We would not hesitate to drive this truck cross-country at a moment"s notice!
