This 40 foot luxury RV has 4 slides, making it the roomiest of all the Diplomat models of this year.
The Cummins ISC-260 turbo diesel engine starts and runs great. This engine has been serviced religiously since it was purchased. The Allison 6-speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly and has also been well-serviced since new. The 100 gallon baffled diesel tank feeds both the chassis engine and the generator engine.
The generator for this coach is a Owens 7.0 with under 1,200 hours. It is fully automated and integrated with the coach. This generator has enough power run everything on board with no delays. The generator has been tested and works great. It is coupled with a Xantrex Freedom 458 inverter to provide 120v power throughout the coach.
You will find a RVA Model JII leveling system under this coach. The hydraulic jacking system has controls from the driver"s seat and works as it should.
Power-train and chassis upgraded features include: cruise control, exhaust brake, traction control, heated electric mirror, air ride suspension, rear docking lights, marker light flasher, battery boost, rear camera with audio, and much more.
The tires are under 2 years old with less than 4,000 miles. This coach has always been stored with the jacks down and weight off of the tires. It was driven on a road trip ( approx . 300 miles) on 7/15/17 with no issues.
The interior of this coach boasts: Dual zone A/C and heat, cherry wood interior, Corian solid-surface counter tops, brushed aluminum fixtures, tile and carpet flooring, double-door refrigerator / freezer (runs on electric or propane), (2) vanity sinks with mirrors, (2) full size beds and a queen master suite, washer / dryer hookup, large closet, automated "basement" heater, and the list goes on and on. One could spend months in the coach and still discover neat new features.
All in all, this is a used machine but has been well kept. The coach drives smooth and runs just as it should. In testing we discovered a few small cosmetic problems: cracked tile in the kitchen floor, missing carpet section in the bedroom, microwave is not functioning properly, cruise control is not functioning properly, and a rock chip in the windshield. The fuel gauge and transmission temperature gauge are not functioning, however the warning lights and alarm (low fuel and overheating trans) are operational.
The front of this coach has a custom 3M coating that is showing wear from road rock chips, ect. The paint under the coating appears to be in excellent condition but the 3M coating may need to be removed to get rid of the scratched appearance.
