This truck is in amazing condition for its age and mileage. You will be hard-pressed to find a similar tractor in such good shape. Frame has been sandblasted and painted and is in excellent condition. Truck is a pre-emissions model. No EGR, SCR, VGT, DPF, UREA injection, or catalytic converter. This model uses the robust and highly reliable fixed geometry turbo that is also very cost-effective to replace.
Very reliable truck, unlike the ones that were also sold starting later in 2004 and onwards, after the emissions management devices were incorporated into production vehicles, which subsequently reduced reliability.
We are selling this truck because we are halving the size of our fleet and this is the only Mack we have. We purchased this truck new and it has been a great workhorse, but it is a hassle for us to keep spare parts for only one truck when the rest of our fleet shares parts.
