This listing is for my privately owned (non-business) 2004 Isuzu 16-ft box truck.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The truck has a 4.8 liter, 4 cylinder, turbo charged engine with a 3 speed plus overdrive transmission. The interior is in very good, clean condition and is very comfortable to drive. The truck currently has 205,000 miles. The truck is configured with air damping over the cab and has a hydraulic tail gate lift.
I purchased this truck 6 years ago to help move from Ohio to New York. I did do numerous maintenance upgrades and replacements and have kept up with the maintenance.
At this point, the truck is mostly parked on my property. It is currently licensed and passed the NY safety inspection about a month ago (good till 2020).
MECHANICAL DETAILS (repairs and upgrades since I’ve owned the truck):
• New turbocharger
• New alternator
• New EGR valve and gaskets
• New oil pan (pans tend to corrode) . . this one still looks new
• New glow plugs installed
• New Radiator hoses installed
• New (dual) engine thermostats
• New block heater installed
• New fan clutch installed
• New front shocks installed
• All new tires (16,000 miles since — they’re in very good condition)
• New king pins
• New custom made steel hydraulic lines for steering
• New power steering pump installed (recently)
• Installed new front Rotors, Calipers and Brake Pads (recently)
• Installed new internal transmission filter, transmission oil filter, transmission oil (the transmission shifts solidly)
• Engine head removed, degreased, resurfaced with new head gasket set
• Injectors removed, rebuilt and reinstalled (one injector replaced with rebuilt)
• Radiator removed and professionally flushed, cleaned, pressure tested and reinstalled
• Exhaust break removed, cleaned and reinstalled with new gasket set and stainless hardware
• Front Alignment
• All filters have been replace as the truck has been used.
I have prepared to replace the rear door; it is currently removed. I can either replace the door with all new panels and hardware for an additional $1000 otherwise you can take the truck as is.
The truck is located in Greenfield Center, NY, just outside of Saratoga Springs. Arrangements can be made to see the truck locally.
