This truck is the perfect vehicle for a subcontractor. I used it subcontracting flooring. 2004 Freightliner Mt45. This truck has the bullet proof Mercedes 4 cylinder diesel motor with Alison 1000 series 5 speed automatic transmission. This truck was an overload truck for USPS. Only used during high volume times, such as holidays. That is why the super low miles.This is a true hyway geared vehicle. It will do 70-80 mph all day long while averaging 13 mpg. I"ve seen 20mpg in perfect conditions and slower speeds. This truck runs and drives very nice, powerful and straight down the road. It has a tow package with brake controller. And enough power to pull just about anything. The truck runs great, no smoking or leaking. Tires are 90% and 2 new 100amp/hr batteries last summer. I designed this truck with an insulated center cabin with double doors opening to the back section. The cabin has a microwave, countertop and lots of storage. Great for heating up lunch on the job. And carrying all those supplies. Also a twin size bunk bed that can be easily removed and shelves built inplace.The back section has shelves on the sides for tools and a space in the middle to load up a full pallet. Or more than one pallet or something long to carry,, open the double doors.The roll up back door is very smooth and works great.There is a jump seat for a passenger/helper. Also a convenient rear view camera. ABS. This truck truly needs nothing but a new owner. I would trust it to drive across the country no problem.
