Ford F550 4x4 Bucket Truck 42" Boom Truck with Material Handling Jib.
2004 F550 Bucket truck with material handling Jib. Truck has blown head gasket, (this is what i have been told by diesel mechanic that looked at it). Blows white smoke. It ran when parked last year so bottom end of motor should be in good shape. One outrigger valve was sticky and slow otherwise all hydraulics worked and this was in service when head gasket blew. Material jib winch worked as well when taken out of service.
This is sold as is where is. You will need to arrange for transport and loading (may need to be winched onto trailer if doesn"t startup)
Would be good truck if you have the ability to repair
On Dec-06-21 at 17:03:59 PST, seller added the following information: UPDATE - I charged the batteries up this weekend and the truck started and ran for for a minute then stopped. So it will run and sounded ok - just not running right. Not sure why stopped but I don’t think batteries were turning it over good enough after initial start - my guess. It has been sitting since spring 2020 so batteries are not best and would be on the list for someone with skills to work on this.
Also side note - the tires are in very good condition with tons of tread. Body in pretty good shape with dent in passenger door and one of the utility box doors is missing the handle. On Dec-07-21 at 08:13:02 PST, seller added the following information: Added some more picture today. All tires are in equally good shape as the one i show the quarter in the tread.
