Purchased this vehicle late 2017 in California, drove home to Arkansas, loaded wife and chihuahua and traveled NorthAmerica for 8 months. Our trip was practically trouble free and I think it is well sorted. We put 20,000 miles on it during those 8 months. Two coils went bad on the trip (I replaced all six) and we had a rock pierce a sidewall on a logging road in Oregon, so we put a full new set of proper tires on it. We lost the exhaust system exiting a ferry in Texas, so I had a whole new system installed. The awning was new in 2017, new alternator last year, new solar panel and solar switch, new batteries engine and auxiliary, new 600 watt sine wave electric converter, New rear brakes, new exhaust system, new coils and spark plugs. . . I put the portable solar panel on 20" leads, so you can move it from side window to side window, depending on sun, or even stake it out on the beach. 8 months out and we spent only one night in a motel, simply for luxury purposes. The AC works with generator or plug in. Generator runs fine. The vehicle performed flawlessly and is pretty well sorted. It has a class II receiver, but I don"t recommend it as a tow vehicle. It was perfect for our bike rack. Now the bad: It had a roof leak when we purchased it (not disclosed by seller). We had the roof sealed and it held for a year, but the roof now needs total replacement. It probably needed this when we had it sealed, but we were ill advised. I included photos of the water damage, which will wipe off in the interior, but which I did not do. I have received a quote to replace the roof for $5,000.00 at a local RV repair facility, which will carry a 10 year guarantee. One of the locks on the side sliding glass is broken, but it actually saved us one time when our dog locked us out of the motorhome with the keys inside. I"m back at work and we simply don"t want it to sit in our yard and rot. It is sitting outside, but I have it covered with a tarp due to the roof leak. We also just moved into a new house, and don"t have any place to store it. We averaged 15 mpg on our trip, driving with regular traffic. 70 mph is not a problem, and it is surprisingly powerful for a six cyl gas motor. It is easy to drive and is very comfortable. Can park in a regular sized car parking spot, which makes it quite handy. I had a three level lumbar fusion prior to our trip, which is why we purchased this unit and took the extended trip. I found the seat very comfortable in all situations. If you can find one of these things for sale, they routinely sell in the mid 20"s, that is IF you can find one. I think you could fix the roof and still be okay on price. I can"t tell you the worst times I"ve had, but among the best were the 8 months spent in this small motorhome. It was perfect for myself, my wife, and our small dog. Winnebago advertises these things to sleep six, but I dare anybody to try that. Two adults and two small children I would think to be the max. I have the original window sticker ($58,216), and all original books and manuals.
