Vehicle description
28ft 2003 Jayco Talon ZX Toy Hauler for sale. This trailer was renovated a little over a year ago to live in permanently on the road. Tires were brand new a year ago and are in excellent condition. Also comes with a weight distribution hitch and custom built vinyl skirt to help cover and insulate under the trailer. These are very great and come with the trailer. Together they cost over $1500 new. Updates include: Cabinets refaced in a more modern style. Custom wood veneer counter tops.
Wood laminate floor.
Custom slide out pantry and trash bin. Fresh paint.
Compost toilet, very similar to Nature"s Head with an extra base in case you are in an area you can not dump. If desired original plumbing is still in place and a new toilet could be put right back in. There is a fold out couch and the master bed is now the loft above the cargo area in the rear of the trailer.
Roof was getting a little chalky so I coated the whole roof with rubberized roof coating from the RV store. Roof is in good shape with no cracks or holes.
Late 90"s turn of the millennium giant 6-disc cd changer radio was removed for extra storage space. Wiring is still in place but unsure if the accompanying speakers still work.
Trailer has been lived in for the last year and is in fully functioning in great shape. A few minor issues. The light above the stove and cooking exhaust vent were working intermittently and finally stopped. I tried changing the fuse and that worked for a short time but did not fully fix it. Also the trailer nicked the garage pulling out and put a 2 inch hole in the side. It was immediately covered with a thick white roof patch and has stayed in place no problem. Last we placed vinyl covered particle board over the existing coated shower walls. I used what I believed to be an ample amount of waterproof liquid nails to attache it. Unfortunately there must have been a couple of spots that were not 100% sealed and it crept into the particle board behind the coating. This seepage is NOT in the walls it was placed directly over the existing shower walls and there was no holes or leaks in the original wall. Please view pictures for all references here. Only reason for selling is we got relocated to Salt Lake City permanently and no longer need a camper to live in. Looking to downsize to a 4x4 truck with camper topper. https:/ www.jayco.com/tools/archive/2003-talon-zx-tt-th/ Floor plan is T28A. The queen bed has been removed and a walkway cut into it to create a walk in closet. Also only one fold out couch is in the trailer.
Vehicle is listed locally and may be ended if sold locally.
