Here we have for your bidding is a 2002 Sterling Model L-8500 Dump/Plow Truck. It is powered by a Caterpillar C-10 engine and it has an Eaton 8LL transmission. truck runs and drives very well and will go anywhere one would want to go. No shakes or shimmy"s, muffler is quite, transmission shifts smooth, air conditioning blows cold, jake brakes works also. It has a 16ft dump box that works well, tailgate opens and closes good and is tight. Tires and brakes are at or about 60% wear remaining, we had used this truck all summer to do 4 jobs for us and it worked well, it had belonged to a municipality all it life before we owned it. It has a one way plow and wing to go with it, we removed the front plow frame because we had no use for it but it goes with the truck along with the one way plow and wing.
