formally owned by the state of MD, this 2002 STERLING L7500 PLOW TRUCK is great running condition. the 8.3L CUMMINS diesel starts on command and runs with no issues and is matted to an electronically controlled automatic transmission. with only 113k miles on it, this truck runs down the highway with no issues. this money maker is equipped with a hydraulic plow and salt spreader, both of which are in working order according to the state highway administration. the plow is currently in the stainless steel dump body for easy transport. the dump body on this truck is completely functional (see videos).
the exterior as you can see is in good condition. there are no major dings or dents, the stainless dump body is in great shape with no rust( see pictures). the plow and all of its mounting hardware is in the dump bed. the tires are in good shape. the air brakes function as they should. i would have no issue driving this truck. the frame is in good shape with minimal surface rust. there is no structural issues with this truck. the state does its best to keep the maintenance up on their fleet. this truck is not flawless cosmetically but it has ability to clean up nice and serves its purpose.
the interior as you can see is in ok condition. the driver seat does have some wear on it . but as far as functionality. she does what she is supposed too. the radio turns on and works with no issues. heat and a/c function but the control panel needs some service it it either needs a fuse or to be replaced(see video for more info). the power window switch doesnt work. could be a fuse or broken power wire. there are no warning lights on at this time except for abs light but doesn"t effect how the truck performs and all the controls seem to be in working order. if i was going to spend hours upon ours making that money i would have no issues being in this truck. if you are interesting in this one please pay attention to our other up coming auctions. we have other truck like this that will be listed in the near future. if you have a question or are unsure of something please ask. we try our best to cover as much as possible but we are not perfect. please watch both videos and look at pictures
