Vehicle description
This 2002 Monaco Knight 34ft is ready to travel in. We just got back from a 4000 mile trip into Alberta, Canada and everything worked great. At 60 mph we got 10.5 mpg and if we ran 80 mph we got 8.5 mpg.
New and improved /repaired items done June 2019 just before our last trip. We redid the living area of the interior, changed the flooring to 7 mm thick click lock vinyl flooring, upgraded all seating including, drivers & passengers seat, sleeper sofa, recliner and dinette to new leather seating. Dinette converts to a bed. All tires are brand new. New air bags, new shocks - Special RV shocks $250 each. New slide out awning canvases, New memory foam mattress Brand new engine radiator (was just starting to get wet so we put in a new one-not used or rebuilt), fresh oil change on engine, transmission, differential, and generator, fresh antifreeze in engine and generator. New Air filter and fuel filters and water filter. Almost all interior lighting has been upgraded to LED light, New shower head, and kitchen sink tap set. New CD player with USB and aux inputs Some of the features the RV has. 7500 watt Diesel Generator with 750 hrs. 2 roof air conditioners - Both work good. 10 Gallon DSI water heater - works good 50 amp hookup Adjustable pedals Power drivers seat. RV does not smell even sitting out in hot weather and being shut up.Unit is ready for your next trip. Hydraulic leveling - Level sensor/alarm does not seem to work. I use phone to level by placing phone on the floor and using a level app. 4 bag individually controlled air ride system, Limits vehicle sway for a nicer ride. After market back up camera with side view cameras. Power drivers and passengers sun shades. Does not have a washer and drier but it does have the hookups for it. Currently that space is shelving space. Sleeps 4-6 depending on size of people. 3 burner stove. Newer fridge/freezer - No ice maker. 10,000 lb receiver hitch Other Notes Windshield has 2 or so small chips that have been professionally repaired 1 wheel hub center is missing from the right side rear axle. 1 compartment door has been scraped. See Pictures. Door still seals and work nicely. Large Awning canvas has some stitching letting loose but has been repaired with awning tape. See Picture I cracked the lower portion of the interior mirror down by the floor when I was installing the new flooring. Rear ladder has 1 lower mount broken that I did not repair. Exhaust brake works good but every now and then it wants to stay stuck on so you need to slow down till it releases. I can"t think of anything else but if I do I will add it. PLEASE NOTE: We do not watch TV so I removed them and changed the cabinet in the front where the front TV was to a storage unit but I still have them as well as all related hardware and DVD player, so they would be included in the sale of the RV.
