International (Ford) 7.3L Diesel Engine with Allison 2000 Transmission
Story:
I bought this bus 5 years ago out of Philadelphia PA. It was previously owned by Krapf"s Bus Service which is one of the biggest bus contractors in the country. This bus was used every day on route for the first 3 years I owned it and then became one of my spare buses the last two years. I would drive and trust this bus to go anywhere in the country. I drove this bus all the way from Philadelphia in 2 days and it has been a great bus for me the past 5 years. There is a little bit of rust starting around the rear passenger wheel well. You can not see it in the pictures because it is hidden by the rubber guard. It does not affect the structure of the bus.
Everything works as it should on this bus.
This bus meets the required safety specs for South Dakota which is one of the strictest states when it comes to safety regulations.
This bus was built to be a rural route bus. Comfortable driving speed is 55 mph. Will it go 65? ? Sure, but I wouldn"t recommend it for long distance driving because that is running the RPM"s a little high.
Tires are brand new on this bus. ($2400 value)
Chassis was greased every 3000 miles and oil was changed every 6000 miles. New fuel filter before the start of each year and new air filter 1000 miles ago.
All owner stickers will be removed.
Seller will provide buyer with 45 day temporary license plate.
I would be willing to deliver this bus anywhere in the 48 contiguous states for free with the "buy it now" price ($9,500). Bus would have to be paid for in full before I left for delivery.
If you want to come pick up the bus yourself I will be able to pick you up at the Fargo, ND airport or the Sioux Falls, SD airport.
