Vehicle description
2002 Holiday Rambler Class A Motor Home. Condition is "Used". Perfect tiny home candidate. Previously Salvaged Flood Title. It appears the previous owner damaged the roof in the back corner and created a leak in the roof/ sky light. We bought it in Minnesota and had it checked out and fixed the damage and drove it to Nebraska which is about 600 miles away. No issues with it. 14,940 actual miles. We bought it three years ago and mostly kept it at a lake RV park so we have only done a couple of road trips in it. Just did a 300 mile road trip last weekend to check everything out. Runs and drive like it should. IT has the GM 501 The good. New Toyo tires with only 400 miles on them. The air conditioners both ice cold. Large RV refrigerator works well. TV and dish work fine. Stove is fine, we have never used the oven. it has washer and dryer option. We have never used it but did start it to check it out and it appears to work. It has two bath rooms.
The bad, the floor will eventually need replaced. It had some roof leaks that we had fixed at our local RV service provider and no leaks since. We were OK with it so we didn"t worry about it. It needs updated, it is a 2002 and styles have changed. The awning is not functional. about half of the compartment latches have been damaged but still function. There is a generator and we had our local Cummings dealer look at it. The hours are low but the generator itself need new bearing since it was rarely used and will not start. We always had electrical hookups so we never needed it. both slides will need new seals.
I recommend inspection before purchasing, again needs some work but has a lot going for it. This motor home has thick insulation and was well built. It is 36 feet long and has two slides and would not hesitate to drive it anywhere due to low mileage. The GM 5.1 is a really good engine and with the Allison transmission, it moves down the road pretty well. The new tires will insure your trip home is care free.
Please contact me with any additional questions . Thanks for your interest.
