Vehicle description

Redux! ! This is a relist as the original bidder never followed through - he never showed and stopped communicating within an hour of winning this truck. He has not answered either me or eBay. So, his loss is your gain.
Up for sale is a 2002 Freightliner FL70 with a 3126E Cat 6 speed Allison 3060P . Starting bid at .99c because I believe when it"s time to let something go there"s no reason to hold onto it. All questions asked will be answered in the listing here. I will not end this listing because of low bids so if it sells for a cheap price I won"t back out of it (it"s the closest thing I do to gambling) so have at it! !
Included in the sale is a fully functioning, 441 hours, Hobart Champion 16 - 8kw welder/generator. There is no welding cables with unit. It has a new Miller Welder battery.
I have the original dealer spec sheet so what I quote is based on that file.
Caterpillar CFE 3126 - 250hp Allison 3060P - 6 Speed Automatic
12k Meritor Front Axle and the Rear Axle is a Meritor RS-19-144 R Series 19k - 4.33 Ratio Air operated dash mounted differential locking switch Air suspension dump valve
174" Wheelbase 108" Cab to Axle
285/70R19.5 tires - - Front tires are new with 100% tread - Rear tires approx 30%
All mirrors are heated
There is heavy rust on the bottom of the 13" utility body on both sides. It is salvageable but would need to have some panels fabricated and welded to the bottom of both side boxes. There are several newer doors, as shown in the pictures, as I was contemplating fixing it up. .
Unit is being sold in as is condition with no warranty. I"ve used this truck on a semi regular basis as an on site vehicle for one account but it has not been registered since 2016. Recently driven with dealers plates approx 20+ miles to get it back to the house. The driver"s side fuel tank also has a 15GPM fuel transfer pump mounted to a triple heated 45 gallon fuel tank that I"ve used to thaw out frozen fuel during road service calls - also included is a fuel hose with a fuel nozzle.
Motor starts right up on the Caterpillar and the Hobart welder with no oil burning. Transmission shifts with no issues.
BTW: Any parts that are in the service body that showed up in the pictures will be removed.
If you want to know more check out the pictures and hit me up with whatever means you choose.
