Up for sell is our 2001 Scamp 19" 5th wheel travel trailer, this is the top of line Deluxe model with all custom made wood interior. We already own a 16" Scamp but purchase this one for a little more space to travel with the whole Family, after using the 19" a few times we came to a conclusion that our 16" fits our needs a little better. Our tow vehicle is used on a daily basis for work and the trouble of installing and uninstalling the 5th wheel towing hitch is a pain. It"s either purchase another truck for this camper or just use our 16ft bumper tow trailer.
Details: 2001 Scamp 19" deluxe, purchased from the original owner in Ohio. Interior is in very good, clean condition. Everything is in good functioning condition. Very spacious with A LOT of storage units. U- shaped rear dinette that can convert into a two person bed. Queen size loft in the front. Sleeps a total of 4 adults comfortably. This is a fully self contained travel trailer.
Interior: stove never been used, two way Domatic refrigerator with freezer, 15,000 btu roof mount ac system with built-in heater. AC system cools down the whole camper with in minutes. Very very cold AC system.
Previous damages: 1. small window on the kitchen side has silicone re-sealed by previous owner, 2. damaged lower cabinet side wall from rain water due to old door seal. Now the old door seal was replaced by new one purchased from Scamp manufacturer. No more leaking issue. As good as new! 3. little damage on the loft room lower corner from rain water via cracked old vent cover. Vent cover was replaced with a new one purchased from Scamp manufacturer. Also repainted the corner wood. No more leaking issue.
Exterior: no fiberglass damage! The exterior was vinyl wrapped by the previous owner so the exterior gel coat is in great condition. Front loft exhaust vent was replaced with a brand new one, brand new main door seal ( new style seal by Scamp ) all new screw caps. Awning is 100% functioning condition with no Kanopy damage. Two customized stainless steel toolboxes installed on the front chassis.
Running gear: Brand new bearings, new brakes, 14" tire/rim. New spare tire ( picture taken with old spare tire ) upgraded safety chains, upgraded trailer light plug. Automatic front stabilizer jacks. No chassis issues, no rust.
This camper is under 3000lbs, can be easily towed by a small light duty pick up truck with a v6 engine. Scamp designed this travel trailer to be used with a small pick up. I"m currently using a Chevy 2500 4x4 pick up to tow it. The 2" Scamp hitch mount will be included with this camper. I"ll also help with hitch installation on to your truck upon trailer pick up.
Trailer is currently located in the SW area of Houston Texas. Clean and clear Texas title. $500 non-refundable deposit has to be paid via PayPal with in 2 hours after auction ends. Trailer has to be pickup within 7 days of purchase.
