Vehicle description

Up for bid is a 2001 R-Vision Trail Lite RV. It currently has 35.645 miles on it. It is built on a Chevy Workhorse chassis and it is equipped with a Chevy V8.1 which produces about 345 horse power. The power to weight ration is awesome and the engine is super powerful for such a light RV. We currently use it to tailgate almost every weekend during football season. We also use it to travel to Long Island, NY about every 2 months. So we take this everywhere. The Chevy chassis and engine make it feel like you"re only driving a truck, not a RV. Also, at 27 feet, its the perfect length for traveling. A lot of times we can get away with parking it in a normal parking spot and letting the rear of the RV hang over into another spot and over grass in the back of a lot. We recently added a brand new battery and flushed the transmission. We were right at 35k miles so I figured it was time to replace the transmission fluid. We also just replaced the rear brakes and adjusted the rear axle. Again, being right at 35k miles, there were a couple of things we felt needed to be maintained. The generator has 607 hours on it and runs as it should. At the start of the season, I replaced the oil filter, air filter, and oil. The only thing wrong with the generator is recently we"ve had trouble starting the engine with the switch on the inside of the cabin and we"ve had to turn it over on the unit itself. But the generator itself is fine. I took as many pictures as EBay would allow and I made sure to take pictures of the water damage to the outside of the RV. You can see the rippling under the driver side window. I opened up the outside and replaced the damaged wood with some new wood but the owner before us never addressed it and there is no way to reverse water damage. There"s also a pic of the back left of the RV where there was damage due to cutting a corner too tight and we hit a curb. Again, I do not want to mislead anyone on any pictures. The water heater, AC unit, and all plumbing works perfect. We"ve had zero problems with anything plumbing related and each season we made sure to winterize the unit. There is also a 30 gallon propane tank underneath the RV. We replaced all the decals 2 years, too. Cost us a decent amount of money but we think it was money well spent. They"re not the official decals for the RV but we were able to find someone to recreate the logo and graphics on a computer and make it look almost factory quality. I also just used Meguiar"s RV/Boat/fiberglass de-oxidizer on the whole RV to restore some of the shine and clean up the RV. We loved this RV and took it many places. We have only have the RV for 3 years but we"ve put almost 16k miles on it. It is only me, my wife, and my kid so we"re going to "club down" and get something a little smaller, possibly a B class or a conversion van. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks for looking and thanks for bidding.
