Up for sale this week is a beautiful Lance camper, model 1130, mounted on a Ford F350 Triton pickup truck. Both were brand new in 2001, and have only 64,950 original miles of use (mostly highway miles). They have been together ever since. The truck has a crew cab, dual rear wheels (rear wheel drive), 6.8 liter V-10 gasoline engine, cloth seats, 3-chime air horn, air conditioning, and automatic transmission. Recently replaced parts include a new fuel pump, new battery, six new Michelin tires ($1500 value), and all external lights have been upgraded to LEDs.
The Lance 1130 camper is equipped for full-time use, complete with almost anything you can think of: air bags for leveling the camper when parked, two outside awnings, two sinks, toilet, shower, 40-gal fresh water tank, 25-gal gray water tank, 24-gal black water tank, 6 cu. ft. refrigerator (propane or electric), propane stove/oven, microwave oven, air conditioning, propane heat (20m BTU) and hot water, propane powered electric generator, solar panels, satellite dish, and entertainment system. The camper batteries are the only thing that will need to be replaced. Everything works, as this rig was being used daily until its owner passed away two years ago. The camper was winterized and has been stored since then, while the estate was in probate.
The entire rig measures just shy of 26 feet in length, 8 feet in width, 10 feet 8 inches in height, and weighs about 9,000 pounds. The camper alone is 19 feet 6 inches long, and weighs 2752 pounds dry.
