Vehicle description
Good condition, runs without any known problems. Zero rust. Cat 3126 motor.
Whelen 285HFSA1 siren/PA still installed. Lights removed (wiring still there to easily add new ones).
This truck is located in Medley, FL (Miami) at my mechanic’s shop. The truck has been gone through and checked for road worthiness. New fluids (engine oil, transmission fluid, etc). Tires are fine, and truck has new batteries. Greased suspension, brakes examined, new fuel pump installed. I live in MA and was planning to drive it back, so I had them fix/replace/check everything. But my plans have changed, so it’s up for sale.
Unlike almost all ambulances that are for sale (government auction or third party) this is an extended cab with extra seating. It has one extra seat installed (for third person) and can probably fit another.
The truck has air brakes but you should not need a CDL since the GVWR is under 26,000. I know this is the case in MA, and our laws are trash. The GVWR on this truck is 20,000 (pictured).
I have the title in hand and will mail to winning bidder. $500 deposit due within 24 hours of auction ending, full payment due within 7 days.
