This vehicle was owned by the Federal Bureau of Investigation since new and has 13,730 certified original miles. This Van is equipped is equipped with the 6.5L Turbo Diesel Engine and Automatic Transmission. It is 24"L and 10"10"H. This vehicle was outfitted by the FBI as a crime scene unit, and a s such is equipped with a heavy duty 16" insulated box/work area. This box has insulated and reinforced sound resistant walls and doors, non slip floors, walk-in doors at the front and rear, and 6"7" of interior headroom. There is a roof mounted air conditioning unit for the rear, and a floor mounted heater that runs on diesel. There are four batteries in the exterior side compartment that were used to run their equipment, and there are also a shore power connections for campground or external power hookups. The rear storage cabinets have been removed, but there are two closets and a work desk area in the front, as well as lots of overhead cabinets throughout (which are all removable if desired). There are holes in the rear wood panels where wires and equipment were removed, which can be easily filled. We handle lots of FBI utility vehicles and they are always fit out with top of the line materials and construction. The original cost for this vehicle was $117k. This Stepvan runs perfectly. This vehicle has been very well treated and maintained, and it may be close to impossible to find a better example. As with all FBI vehicles receive only the best maintenance and service. These vehicles receive full scheduled maintenance regularly, and get whatever is needed, whenever it is needed. The 6.5L Turbo Diesel engine runs flawlessly and the transmission shifts perfectly. The tires are all close to new including the spare. The brakes are in excellent condition and the oil & filters were changed last week. The front and rear air conditioning works great. There aren’t any service or warning lights on, and this Stepvan is ready to be picked up and put to work immediately. The exterior of this Van is in terrific condition without any dents or damage. The Blue paint is very glossy and clean with only minor imperfections. It has never been in an accident or had body repairs and all of the paint on this Truck is original. There isn’t any body rust on this Stepvan, and the undercarriage and frame are extremely clean without any rust. The roof is tight and in perfect condition. This is a solid roof which is not prone to leaks or problems found with membrane roofs. The interior has been very well maintained and is fresh, clean and very well maintained. It looks like a vehicle with 13k miles, as it should. The front cab area, seats and flooring is super clean without any damage. This was a non-smoker owned vehicle, and there aren"t any odors inside. The vehicle history report is clean without any accidents or damage, and we have the original FBI title certificate. A new title will be issued as soon as the government reopens the motor vehicles division. A $60 fee will be added to the final sale price of each online transaction for document fees and preparation. Temporary Transit Tags are available through the state of PA for $70, which will provide valid registration for a period of 60 days. A current insurance card for any vehicle that you own is required. The Title are available immediately upon full irrevocable payment, which is performed by bank wire transfer or cash in person. Otherwise, the title will be sent to you after your payments have cleared. All vehicles we sell on are stored in a separate secured facility and we require that all vehicles be picked up within ten days of auction completion. Storage charges after ten days will be charged at $15/day for cars, and more for trucks and larger vehicles depending on size.
