Vehicle description
Pros: Great RV for the money! Built with the best of VW and new Winnebago quality. The Rialta is easy to drive and park, fits in many garages, and gets great gas mileage (around 18 mpg @ 55 mph). Our Rialta is in very good condition inside, is well-maintained, has non-smoker owners, has less than 100K miles, nearly new tires, drives well, with plenty of power, and is ready to go!
Cons: Paint is faded and decals are faded and some peeled, driver and passenger seat have worn upholstery (currently using seat covers), two scuff marks on sides (see photos), has a minor coolant leak. The transmission had minor delay from neutral to drive or reverse during cold weather (20 degree F), but there were no problems with it in the spring or summer. The interior once had minor water damage to the ceiling upholstery from a prior owner (see photo), but the leaking has been repaired and we maintain the roof regularly and have had no leaking since we’ve owned it.
For many years, the Rialta has been our dream camping vehicle, but now, after a year of trying it on, we have discovered that it is too small for our needs. We have loved it and will be sad to see it go.
This model Rialta has seat belts for 8 passengers and sleeps 3-4. It has dinette that easily converts into a very comfortable, large full bed. It has two captain chairs that convert into a small full-sized bed that sleeps one adult or two children comfortably. It is fully self-contained with a kitchen sink and extendable countertop, a 2-burner propane stove, a microwave, a 3-way refrigerator (LP Gas, DC, 110V), two TV"s (one with HDMI connection) and DVD Player, a satellite dish, a Panasonic stereo with speakers throughout, a flush toilet and shower.
